FOREMAN Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 5, 2026

This policy explains how ScalePixels (“ScalePixels,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in FOREMAN, our warehouse labor operations platform, including the FOREMAN mobile app for iOS and Android. Your use of FOREMAN is also governed by the FOREMAN Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers the FOREMAN platform: the FOREMAN web application, the FOREMAN mobile app for iOS and Android, and the FOREMAN backend services they connect to.

It does not cover the scalepixels.co marketing website. That website is covered by the ScalePixels Privacy Policy.

FOREMAN is business software. It is licensed to companies — warehouse labor providers, lumper companies, and 3PL operations — and it is used by people those companies authorize. Most of the information in FOREMAN is placed there by a company about its own operations, its own workforce, and its own customers. Throughout this policy, that company is called your organization.

2. How FOREMAN accounts work

FOREMAN accounts are created and managed by administrators at your organization. There is no public sign-up, and there is no way to create an account from inside the mobile app. If you can sign in, it is because someone at your organization provisioned an account for you.

To sign in on mobile you enter your workspace code — by scanning the setup code your organization gives you, or by typing it — and then your email address and password. The mobile app is available to Lead Supervisors; accounts with other roles are refused at sign-in.

The mobile app does not offer social sign-in, Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, or biometric login.

If you request a password reset from the app, FOREMAN records that a reset was requested and an administrator at your organization completes it. FOREMAN does not send you a reset email or a reset link.

3. Information you enter in the mobile app

When you use the FOREMAN mobile app, the information you enter and send to FOREMAN includes:

  • Your workspace code, email address, and password, when you sign in or request a password reset.
  • Which warehouse you selected to work at, and when you checked in and checked out.
  • Load details — the customer, warehouse, and work type you selected, plus operational fields such as container, trailer, seal, door, vendor, purchase order numbers, and quantities like cases, pallets, pieces, sorts, and weight.
  • Crew activity — which crew members you assigned to a load, and their clock-in, clock-out, and break events.
  • Operational and completion notes you type.
  • Photos, videos, and documents you choose to attach to a load, along with each file's name, type, and size.

4. Information provided by your organization

Most of what you see in FOREMAN was not entered by you. It was entered by your organization and is displayed to you because your role and your assigned warehouse allow it. That includes:

  • Your own account record — name, email address, role, account status, and the warehouses you are assigned to.
  • Employee and crew records — names, employee numbers, category, current work assignment, profile photo, skills, certifications, and training records.
  • Warehouse records — site name, code, street address, city, state, and time zone.
  • Customer names, codes, and work types.
  • Existing loads, notes, activity history, and attachments for the warehouse you are checked into.

Your organization decides what is entered into FOREMAN and who inside the organization can see it. If you have a question about a record concerning you, your organization is the right place to start — see Your choices and requests.

5. Photos, videos, documents, and notes

FOREMAN lets you attach operational evidence to a load: a photo taken with the camera or chosen from your photo library, a video you record or choose, and documents in PDF, Word, or Excel format. Videos include whatever audio the device recorded as part of the video.

Only files you explicitly select or capture are uploaded. The app does not scan, index, or upload anything else from your device.

Files you attach to a load are stored privately and are made available to authorized people in your organization's workspace through time-limited links, rather than through permanently public URLs. Deleting an attachment in FOREMAN removes both the record and the stored file.

A media file can carry metadata that your device wrote into it when the file was created. FOREMAN does not read or use that metadata, and it does not remove it. Treat attachments the same way you would treat any file you send from your phone.

6. Device permissions the mobile app requests

The mobile app asks for permission only when it needs one to do something you started. A permission prompt is not a statement that FOREMAN collects everything that permission can reach.

Camera — iOS and Android

Used for two things: scanning your workspace setup code during first-run setup, and taking a photo or recording a video to attach to a load. Camera frames used for scanning are decoded on the device; only the resulting workspace code is sent. The camera is optional — you can type your workspace code instead, and you can attach files from your library rather than capturing them.

Photo library — iOS

Used when you choose an existing photo or video to attach. Only the item you pick is uploaded. On Android, FOREMAN uses the system file and photo pickers instead, so it holds no broad media or storage permission at all.

Microphone — iOS

Used only while recording a video attachment, so the video has sound. FOREMAN has no audio-recording feature of its own, and it never records audio on its own. On Android, FOREMAN does not request a microphone permission at all — video recording is handed to the system camera app.

7. What the mobile app does not collect

Many privacy policies list categories that do not apply to the product they describe. These do not apply to FOREMAN, and we state them plainly because they are the questions people actually ask about a workplace app:

  • No device location. The FOREMAN mobile app contains no location or GPS functionality. It does not request location permission, does not read your device's coordinates, does not use geofencing, and does not track you in the background or at any other time. Checking in to a warehouse means selecting the site you are working at from the list your organization assigned to you — it records which site and when, and nothing about where your device physically is.
  • No advertising or tracking. FOREMAN contains no advertising, attribution, or cross-app tracking technology, and does not collect advertising identifiers. FOREMAN shows no ads.
  • No analytics or crash-reporting products. The app integrates no analytics, product-usage telemetry, or third-party crash-reporting service, and does not build behavioral profiles of users.
  • No contacts or phone data. The app does not access your address book, contacts, call history, or SMS messages, and it has no field for your personal phone number.
  • No push notifications. The app registers no push token and sends no push notifications.
  • No pay or billing data on mobile. The mobile app does not display or transmit pay rates, payroll amounts, customer billing, or invoices.
  • No cookies or embedded browser. The app is a native application. It sets no cookies and embeds no web browser; legal links open in your device's own browser.

We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

8. Information stored on your device

The mobile app keeps a small amount of information in its own local app storage so you do not have to set it up again every time you open it:

  • Your session — an access token plus your basic account record (name, email address, role, account and workspace identifiers, and your current check-in status).
  • Your workspace configuration — the company name, logos, colors, and sign-in text your organization has configured.
  • The name and address of the warehouse you are currently checked into, so the app can display it.
  • Your appearance and haptic-feedback preferences.

Your password is never written to device storage. Signing out deletes the stored session from the device. Because there is no automatic session renewal, the app also re-checks your stored session with the server each time it starts, and clears it if the check does not succeed.

While you are viewing or uploading a file, the operating system may keep a temporary copy of it in the app's cache, which the operating system manages in the normal way.

9. How information is used

Information processed through FOREMAN is used to:

  • Provide and operate the FOREMAN service.
  • Authenticate users, apply role and warehouse access rules, and keep each organization's workspace separate from every other one.
  • Record warehouse operations — loads, crew assignments, worked time, quantities, notes, and attachments.
  • Produce the operational results the platform is designed for, such as time totals, production figures, payroll review, and customer billing, calculated from the data and configuration your organization supplies.
  • Maintain historical operational and activity records so past work can be reviewed and audited.
  • Support, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service, and protect it against misuse and unauthorized access.
  • Meet legal, contractual, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations.

10. Workspace access and roles

FOREMAN is designed so that each organization's business records belong to that organization's workspace, and requests are authorized against the signed-in user's organization, role, and assigned warehouse.

Within an organization, who can see what is determined by the roles and warehouse assignments the organization configures. ScalePixels does not control those decisions.

ScalePixels personnel may access customer data where necessary to operate, support, secure, or troubleshoot the service, or where required by law.

11. Service providers and disclosure

We use third-party providers to run FOREMAN, and we disclose information to them only as needed to operate the service:

  • Hosting, database, and cloud file storage providers — these run the FOREMAN application, hold its database, and store uploaded attachments.
  • Google ML Kit— on Android only, the workspace setup code is decoded by Google's ML Kit barcode-scanning component, which is bundled inside the scanning library FOREMAN uses. The code is recognized on your device. As Google describes in its ML Kit data disclosure, that component may send Google diagnostic information such as device and app details, a per-installation identifier, configuration, and performance and error metrics. This applies to Android only; the iOS app links no equivalent component.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ScalePixels, our customers, or others. If ScalePixels is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

12. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, to preserve the operational and historical records your organization relies on, to meet contractual, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations, and to protect the service.

Operational history in FOREMAN is deliberately durable. Warehouse operations, worked time, and billing depend on past records staying accurate, so records are generally preserved rather than erased as work moves on. Your organization controls what it enters and what it asks to have removed, within the limits of its agreement with ScalePixels and applicable law.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service and the information it handles. Specifically:

  • The mobile app communicates with FOREMAN services over encrypted HTTPS connections. Unencrypted connections are disabled in released builds, and certificate validation is enforced when the app fetches a document you are viewing.
  • Passwords are stored only in hashed form. FOREMAN never stores or displays a readable password.
  • Requests are authorized against the signed-in user's organization, role, and assigned warehouse.
  • Uploaded attachments are held in private storage and served through time-limited links, not permanently public URLs.
  • Released builds do not print server responses, file paths, or tokens to device logs.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You and your organization are responsible for the security of your devices, credentials, and the access assignments configured inside your workspace.

14. Your choices and requests

You can decline or later revoke the camera, photo library, and microphone permissions in your device settings. FOREMAN still works without them: you can type your workspace code instead of scanning it, and you can use the app without adding attachments. Signing out removes the stored session from your device, and uninstalling the app removes everything the app stored locally.

The mobile app does not include an account-deletion feature, because accounts are created and controlled by your organization rather than by you.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information about you. Because your organization decides what workforce and operational information goes into FOREMAN, please direct those requests to your employer or the organization that gave you your FOREMAN account first — it controls the underlying records.

You can also contact us at contact@scalepixels.co. Where we hold information on an organization's behalf, we will refer the request to that organization or act on its instructions. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting, and some information may need to be retained where permitted or required by law.

15. Children's privacy

FOREMAN is workplace software provided to businesses for warehouse operations. It is not directed to children, it is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

16. International processing

ScalePixels and its infrastructure providers may process and store information in countries other than the one where you are located, including the United States. Where required by applicable law, appropriate transfer mechanisms are used.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as FOREMAN, applicable law, or our data practices change. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Where required by law or by contract, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

18. Contact

Questions about this policy or about how FOREMAN handles information can be sent to ScalePixels at contact@scalepixels.co.

If you use FOREMAN through your employer, your organization is also a point of contact for questions about the records it maintains in FOREMAN.
